In 2011, Institute for Social Development Studies (ISDS), coordinating with the Institute for Public Opinion Research (IPOR) and the Central Vietnam Fatherland Front organized a series of workshops to disseminate the toolkit for action entitled "Reducing stigma and discrimination towards people with disabilities" from the Central level down to the local ones.

"Transnational marriage migration of Vietnamese women in Asia: Toward a multi-dimensional view"
On July 1st 2011 in Hanoi, Institute for Social Development Studies (ISDS) and University of Western Ontario jointly organized the workshop entitled “Transnational marriage migration of Vietnamese women in Asia: Toward a multi-dimensional view” in order to disseminate results of a series of quantitative and qualitative studies on transnational marriage migration in both sending and receiving sites. The workshop is the concluding activity of a four-year research project “Transnational migration of Vietnamese women in Asia” under a generous grant provided by the International Development Research Centre of Canada (IDRC).
